Dundee police probe theft of heavy plant equipment

Police in Dundee have launched a witness appeal after plant equipment was stolen from a local industrial estate.
Officers said they are looking to trace the people involved and the vehicles used to take the equipment.
It’s believed the theft took place between 7pm on May 6 and 7:30am on Friday, May 7, Tayside police said.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said officers were carrying out a number of inquiries as they urged anyone with information to come forward.
They added: “Between 7pm on Thursday, May 6, and 7.30am on Friday, May 7, equipment including three buckets and a pecker (breaker) for a Kubota mini digger were stolen from a builders site on Kilspindie Road, Dunsinane Industrial Estate.

Police appeal after teenage girls in Dundee approached by men in Ford Focus

Police are appealing for information after concern about the behaviour of two men driving a silver vehicle in the south of Dundee.
Between 11.30am on Monday March 22 and 4pm on Tuesday March 23, two men were reported to have approached a number of teenage girls at various locations in Dundee, including Glamis Road, Dunholm Road and Craigowan Road.
Police said today that some of the girls were seen in the back of the vehicle.
The pair were in a silver Ford Focus car with the registration prefix LX52.
