SHANGHAI, Apr 1 (SMM) - Dr Hudson Bates, President of the Nickel Institute, said: "Well-functioning LME is critical to the efficient use of nickel on a global scale.
In the daily trade on March 16, SHFE 2204 nickel opened at 216,490 yuan/mt. The closing price stood at 235,200 yuan/mt, up 18,710 yuan/mt from Mar 15. Intraday trading was weak, with volume down 22,744 lots compared to Mar 15.
