Copper Demand: Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) lost 0.2% to USD 8,546 a metric ton as at 1544 GMT, after touching its strongest since Jan. 2 at USD 8,599. It also hit a three-week high on Wednesday with the largest daily trading volumes since Sept. 21.
Aluminium Prices In London: Three-month aluminium on the London Metal Exchange was up 1.4% at USD 2,258 per metric ton, as of 0743 GMT, while the most-traded March aluminium contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange closed up 2% at its highest since Jan. 15 of 19,025 yuan (USD 2,653.38) a ton.
