She explains to the court that de la rosa would kill her and she got the police involved. By november of 2015 that protection order became permanent. After dela rosa served four years in prison for kidnapping the mother of his child, she said she wanted him back in her she amended the permanent protection order allowing her ecstasy both her and the fouryearold son they share. Police say no one was seriously hurt. No arrests were made. Also new from overnight, police are trying to find the suspects who allegedly set a man on fire during an robbery. This happened just before nine 9 00 last night near 53rd and clarke. According to police, the suspects intentionally set the victim on fire during a robbery that involved drugs. $300K Biology Fellowship Established by Prof Emeritus Matsumoto & Wife

Thanks to the $300,000 Summer Research in Biology Fellowship established by Professor Emeritus of Biology Lloyd Matsumoto and his wife, Terri, additional funding will be available for RIC biology students who take part in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program. “This fellowship is designed to provide more opportunities for faculty and students,” Matsumoto says. “My ultimate goal is to strengthen the Department of Biology and attract more students.”
