The city of Kirksville s Historic Preservation Commission will hold a meeting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 201 S. Franklin Street.
The life of Kirksville businessman Charles Rorabaugh (1886-1919) was celebrated during Founder s Day festivities held on Saturday, May 13 at Forest-Llewellyn Cemetery in Kirksville. A tombstone in the name of Rorabaugh and his mother, Nancy Ann (Clarkson) Rorabaugh (1847-1924), was donated by the Adair County Historical Society and Friends of the Forest-Llewellyn Cemetery Committee. An unveiling ceremony was held at the cemetery.
