Peterson: District Putting in Work to Get New Board Members Up to Speed

There will be four new members on the Mankato Area School Board next month. Christopher Kind, Liz Ratcliff, Kenneth Reid, and Erin Roberts all won election to the school board in November. Mankato area schools superintendent Paul Peterson says they’re doing their best to get the new board members up to speed
“We’re trying to make sure the transition for them is as smooth as possible,” said Peterson. “We’re trying to send the message that it’s okay for them not to know everything on day one.”
