weeks. what can parents do and why is it taking the cdc so long? parents can do exactly what s being done here. they can speak out and say this is absolutely ridiculous. and the points that were just made is that there is a huge physical downside to masking and super imposing masking or especially with medical conditions. what a hypocrite the governor is who said throughout the pandemic, ainsley, that the state should make the decisions. now he is waiting for the cdc? now he waits for the cdc which, of course, is going along at a snail s pace who also said the cdc that it should depend on how much virus there is in the area. hey, cdc, we have no virus around here. hey, governor, make the decision. this is a complete hypocrisy, ainsley. ainsley: liz, carissa, dr. siegel, thank you so much for being on with us. thank you. thanks, ainsley. ainsley: you are welcome. louisiana senator john kennedy is going to join us live plus his west virginia colleague is joe manchin facing backlash

GOP no longer has support for the truth
We were told for over four years by Donald Trump that the media was biased, unfair and not trustworthy.
Despite numerous well documented reports that Trump lied on a level never seen before by previous politicians, his supporters ignored the reports and remained extremely loyal. The truth no longer mattered, especially when it came to their leader and his comments and views.
The Big Lie of Jan. 6 is just one example of this.
They blamed Antifa and said that the insurrection was not violent despite the fact that there were five deaths, numerous damages done to the Capitol, and if it weren’t for the bravery and courage of the security there, it’s fair to say that many more people likely would have died.

Two years after New York passed reforms to its cash bail system, dishonest politicians are still out misleading the public about them, pandering for votes by scaring people into thinking that liberals are handing out “Get Out of Jail Free” cards to murderers and rapists.
”As women and mothers,” congressional candidate Liz Joy said during a sparsely attended Mother’s Day rally on Sunday, “we have witnessed repeat violent offenders, sexual abusers, domestic violence abusers, horrifically violent gang members be purposely purposely released onto our streets, into our neighborhoods, affecting our children, our sons and our daughters.”

The state law eliminated cash bail and pretrial detention for most misdemeanor and nonviolent felony charges.
In front of the state Capitol Sunday, the demonstration, “Tough as a Mother,” chose this particular holiday “because never before has our children’s futures, our communities’ safety and our mothers’ legacies been under attack than by the current governance of New York state,” event literature read.
It was organized by Abbey Ballard of Montgomery County, who began a public campaign against bail reform and other measures by the Democratic-run Legislature.
