ASHLAND - Lissa Gerwig Lance loves books, and wants others to love them too, so naturally, her role as president of Friends of the Ashland Public Library is a perfect fit.
Lance has been a volunteer with the Friends since 2014 and president since 2015, and been helping the Library be the best it can be ever since.
The Friends of the Ashland Public Library “is a 501 (c)3 tax exempt group that supports the Ashland Public Library with voluntary service and monetary contributions … (and) are able to raise funds through membership fees and book sales,” according to information on the APL’s website.
