Home schooling continues to rise after the pandemic

(KLKN) By summer of 2020, the number of families switching to a home schooling option increased 21% in Nebraska, largely in part due to the pandemic and parents looking to meet their individual health and safety needs. Nationwide, the numbers haven’t necessarily been on the decline since then.
“This year, we are seeing also with the health standards that are being proposed in different contents. There’s concern about that, there’s a lot of questions, everything is up in the air,” Liz Davids with Heartland Home Schoolers said.
