LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A crash involving a SEMI and a car is blocking both lanes of the U.S. 60 Cumberland River Bridge near Smithland in Livingston County, Kentucky.
Both lanes of the bridge are blocked along U.S. 60 near the 12 mile marker in Livingston County at the north end of Smithland.

Operation Light It Up a success in Livingston County
Sheriff s operation concluded at Noyes Health in Dansville

DANSVILLE Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the first ever “OPERATION LIGHT IT UP” in Livingston County was a success, achieving its mission of brightening the day of senior citizens in nursing facilities and Noyes hospital in Dansville.
On Dec. 9, the Sheriff’s Office initiated the planning of the operation and invited all its public safety partners in policing, fire and EMS to join in the effort.
On Dec. 17, the mission became operational starting at the Sheriff’s Office at 5 p.m. and traveling throughout the county, ending in Dansville at 8 p.m.
