Mbewe made the remarks at Zion Batah Mission Headquarters in Ntcheu where he attended special prayers the church organized to celebrate their faith.
The Prophet attended the prayers at the invitation of the church in his capacity as president of the Freedom of Worship Association of Malawi (FOWAM).

The Freedom of Worship Association of Malawi (FOWAM) has written the government, expressing its concern and reservations over the government’s decision to go-ahead to roll out the administration of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine in combating coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Prophetic Ministries Association of Malawi (PROMAM) has reinstated Prophet David Mbewe to the position of chairperson, with Senior Prophet Justice Hara deputizing him.

Both Mbewe and the association’s General Secretary (GS), Prophet Lex Kalolo, confirmed the development in separate interviews on Wednesday.
Mbewe – who heads Living Word Evangelical Church (LIWEC) – had earlier resigned from his position to take up a similar position at Freedom of Worship Association of Malawi (FWAM).

Nyasa Times on Friday that after thoughtful discussions, the association resolved to reinstate the LIWEC founder and overseer.
