Coinciding with Earth Day Friday, crews will break ground on the much-anticipated wildlife crossing over the 101 Freeway in Liberty Canyon designed to provide relief for landlocked mountain lions and other animals in Southland mountains.
The world’s largest animal crossing is set to be built right in our backyard, in Agoura Hills on the border between Ventura and Los Angeles County. It’ll reconnect habitats that have been cut off from each other for three quarters of a century.
