All three of the candidates vying to be Labour s new candidate for Mayor of Liverpool have backed the Liverpool ECHO s Cash for Connectivity campaign.
Thousands of children across the Liverpool City Region are being denied their basic right to education because they cannot access online learning at home during lockdown.
We have teamed up with other northern newspapers to launch the appeal after it was announced that children across the UK would be facing more weeks at home away from their schools, with lockdown measures expected to last until March 8.
