HAIKOU, February 6. /TASS/. The China National Oil and Gas Marine Corporation (CNOOC) on Saturday began installation work on a new 100,000-tonnes Shenhai-1 deepwater drilling platform delivered to an oil and gas field in the South China Sea off the Hainan Island coast, reported Xinhua.
According to the news agency, a large floating oil storage facility sailed offshore from the eastern Shandong province on January 14 and arrived at its destination on February 6.
