RCMP searching for 2 suspects after stabbing on Sturgeon Lake First Nation

Welsey Naytowhow (Submitted/RCMP) Police are looking for two suspects after a man was stabbed at a home on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation, north of Prince Albert Wednesday afternoon. In a media release, Prince Albert RCMP said they attended the residence along with members of the Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team and RCMP Police Dog Services. The initial investigation indicates a 39-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman first arrived at the home in a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The man entered the home and assaulted the victim while the female waited in the vehicle. After the assault, the male suspect stole the victim’s vehicle a white Chevrolet Impala with Saskatchewan plate 568 LNW. He fled the scene. The woman followed in the Monte Carlo.

Naytowhow was allegedly accompanied by Ashley Badger, 31.  Police said their initial investigation found that Naytowhow went into the home and assaulted the man while Badger waited outside in the car.
