Police are looking for two suspects after a man was stabbed at a home on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation, north of Prince Albert Wednesday afternoon.
In a media release, Prince Albert RCMP said they attended the residence along with members of the Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team and RCMP Police Dog Services.
The initial investigation indicates a 39-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman first arrived at the home in a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The man entered the home and assaulted the victim while the female waited in the vehicle.
After the assault, the male suspect stole the victim’s vehicle a white Chevrolet Impala with Saskatchewan plate 568 LNW. He fled the scene. The woman followed in the Monte Carlo.

Saskatchewan RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for two people wanted in connection to a stabbing and vehicle theft reported on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
Officers were sent to the community around 2 p.m. Wednesday following a report of a 37-year-old man who had allegedly been stabbed at a home, police said in a media release.

Police said they believe the alleged victim was stabbed by Wesley Naytowhow, 39, shortly after he arrived on the property in a white Monte Carlo. Naytowhow was allegedly accompanied by Ashley Badger, 31. Police said their initial investigation found that Naytowhow went into the home and assaulted the man while Badger waited outside in the car.
