25-year-old Rolla man drowned in Phelps County A Rolla man drowned in Phelps County Saturday according to a Missouri Highway Patrol report. 25-year-old Sumit Garg drowned in Little Prairie Lake after he became submerged and didn t resurface. MSHP responded to the scene around 5:00 p.m. Troopers said it s unclear how Gard entered the water. He was found 15 feet away from the bank. This is MSHP Troop I s 1st drowning this year.
