Local Enterprise Week 2021kicks off on Monday 1 March with an array of virtual events and workshops taking place throughout the week. This week’s events cover topics, which will help every business face the ongoing trials of the COVID-19 pandemic; and challenges far beyond.
On Wednesday 3 March, the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) for south Cork will host the annual AgriTech Revolution in Farming and Food event. This interactive conference is dedicated to innovation in the agriculture industry and open to viewers nationwide.
Running from 9.30am-2pm, the forum will examine the multiple ways in which agri tech has transformed farming over the years and how it continues to help our sector thrive.

As part of the line up of virtual events planned as part of Local Enterprise Week which runs from March 1 to 5, there is a specific event dedicated to innovation in the agriculture industry and the agri-tech (agricultural technology) revolution.
The half-day event, which is being organised by south Cork LEO, will take place next Wednesday, March 3.
‘AgriTech Revolution in Farming and Food’ will be a fast-paced interactive conference examining how agri-tech has transformed farming and continues to help the sector thrive.
The annual AgriTech conference will be exclusively online. Speakers will explore how using technology can put Ireland at the forefront of sustainable agriculture and where the export opportunities are.
