Shortly before 2 00 this morning, this was the apartment complex here in upper dublin township, woods apartment complex, started in a unit on second floor, just kept going from there. Started burning extremely fast, going unit by unit. But really contained to that one unit on that second floor. Two alarms rang out, big push from the flames and the Fire Department as it got underway, got it under control in 30 minutes to an hour. Not without some harrowing moments, firefighters had to rescue a man from that second floor apartment, where the fire actually started, where those flames came from, they managed to get up there, we spoke to an eyewitness, who was there as that moment was happening, heard the screaming from that unit. People, dad and his daughter, who say they were happy to be rescued this morning, by the door being kicked in, those flames intense. Listen to what they had to say. It was a blessing, i mean, blessing were alive. Blessing that the Police Responded fast enough to get us out. Because, i mean, i didnt smell the smoke. I mean, nobody got here, nobody called anybody. I would have burned to death. Not a lot more to say than im just really thankful that we got outg by that fire. Again, quickly moving, two alarm fire that firefighters got under control. They say in about a half hour, now, getting some reports, you know, the firefighters had to come and kick in ther. Because there were reports that the fire alarms, in the unit, and in the hallway, were not working.
