A northern Manitoba First Nation's brief experiment with a "dry" policy has come to a close with mixed opinions in the community and concerns over unintended side effects, such as driving people to consume more harmful substances.
British Columbia, Canada, is decriminalizing possession of opioids, cocaine, methamphetamine and MDMA, known as Ecstacy, in amounts less than 2.5 grams, meaning a person possessing drugs for personal use will no longer face charges or confiscation.
