WILLIAMSBURG More opportunities to score free books is coming to the Williamsburg area.
At its January committee meeting, ASPIRE Young Professionals of the Greater Williamsburg Business Council voted to approve the purchase as well as the installation of a Little Free Library for the Greater Williamsburg community, according to a news release from Feb. 25.
Little Free Library is a non-profit organization working to build community, inspire readers, and expand book access for all people through a global network of volunteer-led little libraries. Through Little Free Library book boxes, millions of books are exchanged each year, profoundly increasing access to literacy for readers of all ages and backgrounds.
