St. Martin Sheriff Becket Breaux has announced a new Litter Abatement Program.
A litter pick-up crew, consiting of two deputies and six inmates, is working five days a week on parish roads and state highways. The program has two benefits: cleaning up parish roads, and rehabilitation for offenders in the parish jail.
If you know of a road or area in need of attention from the newly implemented Litter Abatement Program, you can send a request to the sheriff s Property and Project Manager, Kim Angelle, kangelle@stmartinsheriff.org.
