Joshua Bennett, an assistant professor of English and creative writing and African and African American studies; Alexander Chee, an associate professor of English and creative writing; and Tarek El-Ariss, a professor and chair of Middle Eastern studies, join a cohort of 184 writers, scholars, artists, and scientists from around the country, selected from nearly 3,000 applicants.
