The annual Almanac Holiday Fund campaign is getting underway this week with the aim of raising much-needed funds for local nonprofits that provide a safety net for families, children and adults in need on the Peninsula.
Thanks to another record-setting year of community giving, the Palo Alto Weekly, Almanac and Mountain View Voice holiday funds awarded $1.2 million in grants to 98 local nonprofits and eight high school scholarship winners.
