Update Saturday 9.30am: Minor flooding is occurring along the Wilsons River at Lismore, the SES has confirmed. After heavy rainfall was recorded across the Wilsons River catchment on Friday evening, significant river level rises have been observed in the Wilson River catchment overnight. The Wilsons River at Lismore (AHD) may peak near 5.20 metres around midday Saturday, with minor flooding, the SES confirmed. People upstream of the Rowing Club River Gauge should allow for a level at least 60 cm higher than the gauge reading due to the flood slope. • Residents and businesses in the Lismore Basin may experience localised flash flooding prior to river rises.
