The initiative follows the release of data showing that relatively few of the Big Apple’s Latinos and African Americans are being inoculated, even though those groups have been hit hard by coronavirus. Hispanics of all hues make up nearly half the population of the Bronx, which is also the borough with the highest percentage of positive Covid-19 tests.
