so they come to his defense, and it lasts him to do some of his biggest hits which are deep state, corruption then it puts him back right now, one of the thing that desantis has as an edge as an outsider, where trump is becoming maga establishment. when he s being persecuted by the enemies of the entire republican party, that puts him back in sort of the fighting position. it s weird to say, but it is the sort of funny position that he likes because it makes and brings voters to him. every politician praised to be indicted to solidify your base. there is the other question i have, mckay for you, jonathan basically made the case today that desantis is doing it. the answer is that it s not deus ex machina, it s a desantis campaign. desantis is raising a ton of money, picking all these cultural fights, doing some performative cruel stuff that a certain part of the base really likes, and he s also getting the donor cause lineup and getting the republican establishment lined up, and t
families, but with the house, with the house and our conservative agenda, we could have already voted on three bills, we would have had our committees lined up, and it is all on hold right now. what they re banking on is our will power is less than their will power. and i have a strong will power. i hope kevin mccarthy does, too. and we need to have a strong will power and hang in there. eventually, we hope that we get some of those folks at our side, but at some point kevin mccarthy will have to work across the aisle, too. that s how i envision this getting wrapped up. it may take many days to do so. unfortunately. there s no need for this to have happened. 91% of the folks voting for kevin, the right thing to do is to come together and be a team and these folks are failing us, they re failing the house, they re failing america by what they re doing. republican congressman don bacon, in the middle of what looks like it may indeed be a long couple of days for you and for your fellow
day. so again, we may see a blue-to-red shift with republicans gaining ground as counting continues there in arizona. let s head to pennsylvania now. the senate race here is so important, and both parties are making it a priority. the current president, two former presidents all campaigned in pennsylvania over the weekend. let s bring in jason carroll. you re in philadelphia where democrats really need to drive up the vote totals to win tomorrow night. but right now there are some issues with a few thousand ballots. what s going on? reporter: yeah. i mean, there is a lot of anxiety on the ground here on the part of some voters here. we re here at city hall here in philadelphia where inside we ve seen a number of people who have lined up, and what they re doing is they re trying to check to make sure their ballot is going to be counted. this is after what happened in the state s supreme court. last week the pennsylvania state supreme court basically ruled saying that any ballot that
