Authorities said they didnt burn the cabin on purpose. San Bernardino County sheriffs detective Jeremiah Mckay was killed in the shootout on tuesday. Mckay was 35. He was married with two children. Mckay had been with the Sheriffs Department for 15 years. State Police Responded to a Fatal Shooting near an Elementary School in the east bay.
