no one answered the door in the minutes after the agents left. by midday the fbi had in custody 27 of the 37 people under indictment. most of them cabbies. handing over aps much as 3 as much as 330,000 in cash to the current chairman of the d.c. taxi cab commission, leon swain who the government says was cooperating with the fbi, working undercover accepting money in exchange for fraudulent licenses. this probe went public last week when jim graham was arrested and charged with accepting a bribe. late this afternoon, jim graham confirmed two of hs staffers have been subpoenaed to testify before the grand jury. we asked graham questions about the investigation. have you been offered a bribe? i have not received a bribe of any kind of the i have not done anything illegal. reporter: have you been offered a bribe. i am not the subject of an investigation. you won t. reporter: you won t answer that question. that s all i will say for now. reporter: woe not say whethe
girl were stabbed with a call 2:30 today with o both with stab wounds life-threatening injuries. the suspect has been a helped as you mentioned just outside the apartment complex. police continue the investigation and found a trail of blood leading from the front door of the apartment complex. family members say the 0-year- old was a baby-sitter here and took care of many children in the complex. she was watching the two-year- old and two other kids at the time those two other kids not hurt but two-year-old was stabbed. the suspect arrested apparently was a renter in the room of his 60-year-old would. police still don t know what barometerred the stabbing but friends say the man was despondent over a breakup with another woman. at this point investigation continues and police are also talking to several witnesses here on the scene a suspect a 36-year-old man as we said apprehended outside the apartment complex and one of the people who live in the coming plex helped police wi
