NASA s Psyche spacecraft is on a six-year journey to the asteroid Psyche, which is believed to be rich in metals and potentially a building block of an early planet. The asteroid, discovered in 1852 by Italian astronomer Annibale de Gasparis, has been named after the goddess of the soul in Greek mythology. The asteroid is located between Mars and Jupiter.
