VIRGINIA BEACH — Democrats in Virginia Beach are “demanding” Sheriff Ken Stolle set a retirement date now so that a special election to replace him can be held in November, instead of next year. On Aug. 1, Stolle announced that he plans to retire later this year but didn’t provide a date. His elected term is set to expire at the end of 2025. The Republican sheriff said Chief Deputy Rocky .
