While you were sleeping, multiple fire crews tried to save a burning home on ely street in cedar rapids just after midnight. Our crew on the scene says firefighters worked to tame the flames for more than two hours. The Linn County Sheriffs Office tells cbs 2 news no one was home at the time. Initial reports say the home may have been undergoing renovations. Officials are now working to figure out what started the fire. Well continue to monitor this developing story all morning long. An update this morning authorities have now released the names of two People Killed just outside of decorah. Decorah. It all happened in a Mobile Home Park in freeport. 55yearold craig freilinger and 41yearold sarah szabo were both found dead on sunday evening from gunshot wounds. The Winneshiek County Sheriffs Office says the are not looking for any other suspects, and the public is not in any danger.
