Many of the looks centered around “lake life,” with outfits designed to go from a day at the beach to a casual night on the town. From swimwear and flip flops to unique summer dresses and hats, the downtown stores featured fashion spanning all demographics and with a heavy emphasis on enjoying the summer months in style.

Five years clean, Lindsey Cooksey reflects on her meth addiction: 'It is a part of my story'

Two different lives It seemed like it was OK, and then you’d go to work during the week and you’d be like ‘Oh my god, that wasn’t OK. Cooksey said. “And then you’d come to the weekend and it was like, OK, you get drunk and end up doing it again. “All of a sudden it becomes a lifestyle without you even knowing. The next thing you know . you’re living two different lives.” Cooksey moved to Detroit Lakes from Hillsboro, N.D., in 2010. She had a new job as a hairstylist at Regis in Washington Square Mall.

The money will be split between foster-children in the Detroit Lakes, White Earth and greater Becker County-area.
