Image Credit: SUBMITTED / Interior Health December 21, 2020 - 10:47 AM Penticton Regional Hospital continues to move forward with upgrades to the facility as the first phase of its new emergency department opened recently. An expanded emergency department was phase two of the David E. Kampe Tower project and is taking place in phases to be completed from January 2021 to early 2022. The first completed phase of this second round of improvements to the hospital was announced in a release issued by Interior Health this morning, Dec. 21. A new examination room and patient registration area has now been completed and will be followed by expansions to the pharmacy and material stores areas over the next year.
