Police said Wednesday that woman who was new to Suffolk was missing and endangered.
Linda Yvonne Ward, 73, last was seen talking to a man at the corner of Central Avenue and Holladay Street in the downtown area around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6.
Officers said they considered Ward endangered because of her age and because she wasn t familiar with her surroundings.

SUFFOLK, Va. - A missing, endangered elderly woman who was last seen in Suffolk early Tuesday evening has been found safe.
Suffolk Police said 73-year-old Linda Yvonne Ward was last seen around 5:30 p.m., talking with a man on the corner of Central Avenue and Holland Street in Downtown Suffolk.
Around 8:30 p.m., police announced Ward has been safely located.
Ward was considered endangered due to her age and the fact she is new to the area and unfamiliar with her surroundings.
