When Apryl and Jason Potter were first married, 14 years ago this March, they drove around looking at houses and neighborhoods. When they drove down Vinton Avenue in Central Gardens, they agreed that they thought it was the most beautiful street in Memphis.  “We knew then that when we had kids, we wanted to live there,” said Apryl. “About a year after our daughter Blythe was born, we started to casually look at houses across Midtown. We looked at other neighborhoods through the years, but we always came back to Central Gardens.” Apryl continued, “This will come as no surprise to anyone who knows me, but I had a spreadsheet with our wish list and weighted rankings for each factor. Every time we looked at a house that we considered, we would both fill out the spreadsheet to compare that house to the rankings of our current house at the time. A house had to beat our old house to get an offer. “
