COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A longtime Customer Service Representative of the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities is leaving after nearly 33 years of service.
Linda Hyska officially retired on Friday thus ending a a career with the CBPU that started on March 14, 1988.
Over her years of service, Hyska gained a reputation with colleagues and customers alike as a caring and hardworking individual.
She worked with hundreds of customers a month on payment arrangements and other complicated subjects such as tax collection, billing methods and landlord-tenant law.
COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Two Coldwater Board of Public Utilities employees have announced their retirements.
B.P.U. Director Jeff Budd announced during Wednesday’s Board of Directors meeting that Marc Hamm will be retiring from the Help Desk after 20 years of service to the Coldwater community. Hamm was the familiar night time voice of the Help Desk.
In addition, Linda Hyska is retiring from Customer Service after nearly 33 years. Budd says her friendly smile and customer service will be greatly missed by their customers.
Budd says they will miss both Marc and Linda and their enormous contributions to the City of Coldwater and the CBPU and he wished them well in their future retirement endeavors.
