And of course, a model of public service. She served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations from 1993 to 1997 and then went on to become the first female secretary of state in American history. She s a longtime professor at the Georgetown University, the School of Foreign Service, and the most exciting part for me, a former employee of Britannica in Chicago.
