Covid-19: Tributes to hero paramedic who died with virus

Tributes have been paid to a hero paramedic following his death with Covid-19.
Tony Chadbourne - known as Chad - had worked in the Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire Divisions for 23 years and was most recently based in Newark.
He had been ill for some time but died over the weekend.
His family said Mr Chadbourne was humble to the core and without doubt an NHS hero who dedicated his life to his career .
East Midlands Ambulance Service said Mr Chadbourne started as an ambulance technician in 1997 with the Lincolnshire Patient Transport Service and had worked his way up to duty operations manager.

A man who devoted 23 years to working in the ambulance service has died.
East Midlands Ambulance Service has issued a tribute Tony Chadbourne, who worked as a clinical operations manager at Newark.

The tribute reads: It is with immense sadness that we announce that East Midlands Ambulance Service has lost a hugely valued and dedicated colleague this week to covid-19. Tony Chadbourne, often known as Chad or Chadders, devoted 23 years to working in the ambulance service and worked in both Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire Divisions.

A much-loved employee of the East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) sadly died of coronavirus this week and his family, colleagues and friends have paid tribute to him.
Tony Chadbourne, often known as Chad or Chadders, worked in the ambulance service for 23 years in both the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire divisions.
He recently received his 20 years long service medal at EMAS and his family described him as an “NHS hero who dedicated his life to his career”.
