joe? reporter: dana, we are told it was quite a scene at the high school in fairfield as one of the teachers there, a 27- year-old english teacher was arrested on the campus this evening. we will show you a picture we got from the school district website. she is now in jail. she is charged with statutory rape of a male student who was 16 and is now 17. police are investigating the possibility she had sex with other students as well. now, the reason vallejo police are investigating this case because the sexual activities are alleged to have taken here at her home. she has been a teacher at the high school for five years. i spoke with the fairfield school district superintendent and she tells me while the teacher was arrested on the campus this evening this has been going on for some time. they got a tip at the school district. they called the police. and the superintendent wants to reassure parents that they are indeed cooperating with the police on this investigation. and,
