The Lincoln Recreation Center honored Juneteenth with its annual Freedom Walk Friday morning. Attendees gathered at the center and walked 2.2 miles to the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library.
While the federal holiday of Juneteenth is Monday, June 19, events across the Bryan-College Station area are underway and continue through the weekend.
