WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – On Tuesday, Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans announced the opening of two new COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Lincoln Park and Harper Woods for county residents 16 or older.
This brings the total number of county-run vaccine clinics to 6 and ensures most residents are no more than 20 minutes from a vaccination location.
Residents can call 1-866-610-3885 to schedule an appointment at the clinics or can walk-in during normal hours of operation.

DULUTH, Minn.– Community Actions Duluth’s Mobile Market made a stop at the Lincoln Park Community Center Wednesday afternoon.
The market brought more than a dozen crates of fresh produce, dairy products and other pantry staples to help bring food to places where getting to a grocery store can be difficult.
“We, with a handful of community partners, decided to get this vehicle loaded up and go to places around town where there is not that access to a grocery store or a market,” said Evan Flom of Community Action Duluth.
The mobile market will be making a stop in Morgan Park next Wednesday from 4-6 p.m.

Penn Hills officials spoke Monday night about how they’d like to spend an $18 million gift from the federal government.
The money is coming from the $1.9 trillion covid relief bill, known as the American Rescue Plan, recently signed into law.
U.S. Rep. Conor Lamb, D-Mt. Lebanon, announced Penn Hills’ portion of the bill during a meeting with officials March 26.
Penn Hills Manager Scott Andrejchak said during an agenda-setting meeting Monday that the first half of the $18 million will be coming to the municipality as early as May. The rest of the money will be disbursed around this time next year, he said.
