Published on: Saturday, June 26, 2021 By: Cynthia D Baga Text Size: Kota Kinabalu: A man and a woman were fined RM24,000 and RM17,000, respectively for using fake bank statements to obtain a contract amounting RM1.278 million  to supply cooked food to a school hostel in Pitas. Sessions Court Judge Abu Bakar Manat handed the sentence to Mohd Zul Azri Abd Shani, 41, and Linah Adou, 43, who pleaded guilty to the charges against them, Friday. Mohd Zul on the first to third count, was fined RM8,000 or four months’ jail for each charge while, Linah on the first charge, was fined RM5,000 in default three months’ jail, and for the second and third charge, was fined RM6,000 or spend three months in prison each.
