位於中國雲南省昆明市的一處爛尾樓建案近日進行爆破拆除，10幾棟樓在不到一分鐘內一起倒塌。據稱本次爆破使用了4.6噸炸藥、設置了8.5萬個爆點，不過原本要爆破的15棟樓中，卻有1棟在爆破後依然沒倒，針對網友議論，則有專家稱樓體並未完全解體，但也不需要再進行第2次爆破。位於昆明市的麗陽星城二期建案，因開發商資金鏈斷裂，有15棟樓自2013年底開始停工，為處理這批爛尾樓，當地政府於27日下午3點半左右進行爆破拆除，據指於13日時曾先使用96公斤炸藥進行小範圍試驗爆破，在27日時更用掉4.6噸炸藥，並利用電力引爆、延時爆破等，在45秒內完成爆破工作，大樓逐一倒塌後也引發大量濃煙。為預防萬一，周邊也出動公安、消防等部門的2000多名人力待命，同時也對周邊道路進行交通管制，並疏散2千戶5300多人。
