Brand Valtra has been on an incredible journey of existence since it’s formation in 1951, albeit under the original Valmet guise and this year celebrates its 70th anniversary. Unsurprisingly, the technology that exists in today’s Valtra tractors has come a long way since the basic early tractors but Valtra says there is a lot more to come in terms of precision technology. When Valtra emerged 70 years ago the focus was on the mechanisation of agriculture, and later on that focus shifted to for instance improvements in working safety, to growing farms and the success of rural businesses.
FINNISH tractor specialist, Valtra, is making the most of its 70th anniversary this year by introducing new fifth generation N and T Series tractors. Continuing on a similar theme to its new G and A Series tractors, the focus with these newcomers is on even more technology and smarter solutions in the new N and Ts. Mikko Lehikoinen, Valtra s vice-president for sales and marketing, said: “The new tractors are not only good looking, they are also easy to use, they have many new smart functions, and they are extremely comfortable to operate. “We have made plenty of improvements in the new series based on customer feedback on our award-winning fourth generation tractors. Precision farming is at the centre of the new generation, and each new model is available with Valtra Connect.
