Its a long way Karen. I have often use the Lee navigation down to Limehouse basin and then across the Canary Warf. The last bit down Limehouse Cut is a bit dull, and narrow. I would not recommend it after dark!
Go down Southgate Road and join regents canal and it will take you down to Limehouse.

It s a real hike to be doing regularly, Karen. I ve done it a few times and its put me off ever working there (even if HMG does relocate that way)
House parties and illegal gatherings are being shut down and fines issued

Police chiefs have joined the mayor of Tower Hamlets this week in condemning people still flouting the lockdown regulations with house parties or going to illegal raves during the strict lockdown emergency.
It follows a series of raids when unlicensed music events and parties in private houses were shut down.
Police chief warns we re in grip of pandemic so people must expect a fine if they go to large gatherings.

“Officers put themselves at risk of catching this virus,” Chief Insp Pete Shaw said. They have to deal with groups who appear to think that these rules don’t apply to them.”

The scheme will provide 86 homes on the banks of the Limehouse Cut canal
Collado Collins has been given the green light for an 86-home scheme on the banks of the historic Limehouse Cut canal.
The scheme for developer Telereal Trillium will replace an existing three-storey office block and a one-storey Job Centre on the site, both dating to the 1980s, with two blocks of six and eight storeys.
