14-seed Garner Trojans defeated the 19-seed Willow Spring Storm 7-4 in an extra innings ballgame that saw two home runs from Gaby Mizelle and a walk-off home run by Raliegh Stewart in the eighth inning.
The Garner Trojans remain undefeated after defeating the Fuquay-Varina Bengals 18-10. Courtney Maddox, and Kendall Smith each hit a home run for the Bengals. Garners Raleigh Stewart and Lily Keefer jumped started the rally to close the game out for the Trojans.
