The LSU student organization Feminists in Action has distributed over 1,200 units of emergency contraception in the last month and a half to anyone who needs it, no questions asked.
Jack Dale Duggan, age 83, of Pigeon Forge, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021 with his family by his side.
He was born on March 10, 1937 to William and Mamie Fox Duggan in the family home. At the age of 7, Jack and his family moved from Waldenâs Creek to a farm in the heart of Pigeon Forge. At the age of 18 he left Pigeon Forge and enlisted in the Army. He served in Germany and was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, serving as a Staff Sergeant. He retired from the United States Army in 1965 then returned home to Pigeon Forge to raise his family.
