LMPD: Woman taken to hospital after shooting in Taylor Berry neighborhood Share Updated: 11:35 PM EST Feb 8, 2021 WLKY Digital Team Share Updated: 11:35 PM EST Feb 8, 2021 WLKY Digital Team A woman was transported to a hospital Monday after she fell victim to one of the city s latest shootings, police said.The shooting was reported just before 10:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Lillian Avenue, in the Taylor Berry neighborhood, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.Investigators said 4th Division officers found the woman with gunshot wounds. She was taken to UofL Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.The 4th division detectives are handling the investigation.The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown.No arrests have been made, police said.Anyone with information is asked to call the tip line at 502-574-LMPD.

Police seek suspect after launching arson investigation for Windsor house fire

  WINDSOR, ONT. Windsor police have deemed a house fire as suspicious and have launched an arson investigation. Officers responded to a report of a fire at a residence in the 1400 block of Lillian Avenue on Thursday around 7:45 a.m. Emergency Services personnel attended the scene and extinguished the fire. There were no reports of injuries and no significant damage to the residence. Through investigation a white man wearing a dark-coloured hooded sweater and blue jeans was identified. The suspect fled the scene in a dark colored four-door sedan. The suspect vehicle was last seen travelling southbound on Parent Avenue from Shepherd Street East.

Suspect charged in murder of St Louis man

Updated: 3:06 PM CST December 16, 2020 ST. LOUIS A suspect has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a St. Louis man that occurred last week. Marrell Withers, 41, faces charges of first-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm, St. Louis police said. On Dec. 9, police responded to a shooting call and found a man with gunshot wounds lying on the sidewalk in the 5200 block of Lillian Avenue in the Mark Twain neighborhood in north St. Louis. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim was identified as 50-year-old Samuel Spires, whose address was also listed on the same block.
