A survey conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy found that 59% of Florida voters want the Legislature to move forward with bills that would limit the power and influence of companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google and Amazon.
Voter support for a legislative fix comes as they feel increasingly restricted on what they can say on social media â particularly Facebook and Twitter. Half the voters said they feel less free online now than they did five years ago, while 66% say Facebook has too much power and influence. More than three in five Florida voters said the same of Twitter.
