The Lil Trap House Museum has arrived in Overtown to shine a light on Miami’s Hip-Hop legacy and black-owned businesses. The pop-up, curated by rapper T.I. will be around for the next 6 months and will honor Dade natives Rick Ross and City Girls.
The museum is located at the corner of NW Second Avenue and Tenth Street, features trap-influenced art pieces featuring the godfathers of the genre: T.I., Jeezy, and Gucci Mane.
While the original Trap Music Museum in Atlanta is known for its interactive activations, the Miami pop-up is more limited, owing to the pandemic. Face masks are mandatory, and each visitor must sign a waiver and undergo a temperature check before entering.
